Create a session

Once you are logged in, you will automatically be redirected to the Create session page. Here, you can configure your session.

First, select how the meeting will be held

Video call

Selecting video call will create a virtual meeting room where you can invite your participants to meet directly in the Salt webapp.

When starting the session, you will be provided with a share link - copy the link to your clipboard to share with your participants.

Listen in

Listen in is designed to utilise the power of Salt without hosting a video call/meeting room. This enables you use Salt for in-person meetings or alongside other meeting apps. All you need to do is make sure that Salt can hear everyone!

Then, select what kind of meeting is being held

Here you will have a wide range of options. Select the options which most closely aligns with your meeting objectives - the insights that Salt produces will be tailored in a way which helps you guide the discussion towards achieving the objective.

If you're not sure which option to choose, just select each one to see a more detailed description of its use case.
