Video call mode

Video call mode is our all-in-one solution, allowing you to host participants directly in the Salt webapp.

Starting the Session

Starting a session with video call mode is simple. From the Create Session page, select Video call + whichever meeting type you wish to utilise.

When clicking OK a pop-up will appear, giving you the option to start the meeting and copy the invite link - send this link to your participants.

Once you click Start Now, your session will begin and participants will be able to join the meeting room. Make sure all your participants allow permissions for the site to use their microphone for them to be able to participate in the session.

Your AI facilitator will not start analysing your conversation until you click Begin discussion, so remember to click this once the meeting is underway.

During the Session

You can invite new participants to join from the facilitator's side panel - the invite link will remain at the bottom of this side panel throughout.

Features

Facilitators and participants have the following features:

• Change or mute your microphone
• Change or turn off your camera
• Screenshare

After the Session

As facilitator, click End session once the discussion is finished, this will automatically close and redirect everyone out of the meeting room after 60 seconds.

You can click Return to dashboard to return to the create session page and start a new meeting.
